The successful candidate will combine subject mastery with a passion for teaching, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can thrive.About the Role:Plan, resource, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in ScienceSet high expectations to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilitiesFoster intellectual curiosity and encourage pupils to think critically and independentlyUse assessment and feedback effectively to track progress, identify misconceptions, and support pupil achievementContribute to curriculum planning, collaborative development, and subject-specific revision programmesPlay an active role in enrichment activities, such as science clubs, competitions, trips, and eventsSupport the wider life of the school through duties, pastoral care, and modelling the school’s valuesShare best practice and engage in professional learning through CPD and network opportunitiesRole Details:Location: LondonContract: Full-time, permanentStart Date: September 2025 (or negotiable for the right candidate)Salary: Competitive (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience and qualifications)What We’re Looking For:A degree in Science or a closely related disciplineQualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the right to work in the UKExcellent subject knowledge and a strong grasp of effective teaching pedagogyExperience of raising attainment and inspiring students in a secondary settingConfidence in using assessment and data to drive pupil progressStrong classroom management and behaviour strategies delivered with fairness and respectCommitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and sharing best practiceA genuine passion for Science and belief in the potential of every pupilDesirable:Experience delivering enrichment activities that extend learning beyond the classroomEvidence of reflective practice and openness to feedback and professional growthIf you are a passionate Science teacher looking for a rewarding new role within a supportive and ambitious school, we’d love to hear from you.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
