- Oversee daily site operations for the construction and installation of a new-build BESS facility, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure all work aligns with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Supervise on-site health and safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce compliance with HSE regulations.
- Monitor progress against project schedules and report updates, risks, and delays to the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper installation and commissioning of battery systems, inverters, transformers, and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Liaise with DNO/ICP teams and manage activities related to the grid connection works and associated switchgear.
- Maintain detailed site records including daily logs, inspections, deliveries, and incident reports.
- Support commissioning and handover processes by coordinating testing, snagging, and documentation activities.
- Must have experience working on BESS facilities as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
