- Assist the project team with cost queries and gaining back-up/validation to costs
- Support Commercial function by ensuring correct cost allocation and running of weekly cost reports
- Conducting variance analysis of actual v forecast costs
- Monitor and tracking of costs
- Interfaces with: Senior Finance Manager, Site Project Team, HR and BB Newcastle and wider finance teams
- Liaise with External: Suppliers and Contractors
- Work with Clients stakeholders to facilitate audits monthly/quarterly provide samples of costs to enable audits and validation.
- Support Finance Manager and Commercial Lead in any ad-hoc analysis.
- Highly motivated, proactive and practical individual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within set timescales
- Thrives in a busy environment and enjoys a challenge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
- Review and Prioritise tasks with accuracy
- High levels of IT Literacy, preferably used Oracle R12 accounts system but not essential.
- Full driving licence
- Gain understanding of Oracle R12 CVR (link between Commercial Project reporting and Financial project reporting)
- 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata)
