Job Description:Funding Executive (Temporary, 3-4 months)Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (Hybrid Working: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Salary: SO Grade (£37,694)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekAre you passionate about Northern Ireland’s thriving screen industry? Do you have experience managing funding applications and supporting creative projects? Northern Ireland Screen is looking for a motivated Funding Executive to join our busy and dynamic Funding Department on a temporary basis.In this role, you will manage a portfolio of projects from initial application through to final delivery. You will work closely with our Production Department and engage with key external stakeholders including broadcasters, distributors, producers, and financiers to support bespoke funding schemes that drive growth and innovation within the local screen sector.Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for funding applicants and supporting them through the application process
  • Assessing funding applications and reviewing financial documentation such as budgets and cash flow
  • Monitoring funded projects to ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements
  • Collaborating with internal teams to launch and evaluate funding schemes
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the screen industry
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • A third level qualification OR a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in administrative, project support, funding, or grant-related roles
  • Knowledge of Northern Ireland’s screen industries and an understanding of Northern Ireland Screen’s work
  • Experience reviewing financial documents such as budgets and cash flow statements
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and an aptitude for teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing data
Desirable skills include:
  • Knowledge of Northern Ireland Screen’s funding programmes
  • Experience with grants administration and funding procedures
  • Familiarity with grants management or CRM systems
