- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and medical conditions
- Implement therapy or intervention plans created by clinicians such as Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Educational Psychologists
- Support students in developing communication, sensory regulation, and social interaction skills
- Assist with personal care, feeding, or mobility needs when required
- Monitor and track student progress, noting behavioural or emotional changes
- Create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, clinical teams, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Help prepare and adapt learning materials to suit individual learning styles
- Support the development of life skills, independence, and self-regulation
- Attend daily briefings, EHCP meetings, and professional training sessions as needed
- A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field
- A genuine interest in mental health, child development, or educational needs
- A goal to pursue a career as an Aspiring Clinical or Educational Psychologist
