- Lead the delivery of administration services for a portfolio of Public Sector clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, including liaison with Pension Boards, Committees, and scheme members.
- Oversee and contribute to client meetings, including preparation and presentation of materials.
- Handle complex pensions queries and provide consultative advice aligned with legislation and client needs.
- Manage and monitor ad-hoc projects, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
- Stay up to date with pensions legislation and implement procedural updates as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to deliver a seamless client service.
- Lead on new business tenders and presentations, representing the administration function.
- Extensive experience in Client Relationship Management and Public Sector pensions administration.
- Educated to A Level, Degree, or equivalent, with strong Maths and English GCSEs.
- APMI qualified or deemed 'qualified by experience'.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in third-party pensions administration.
- Strong technical knowledge of DB schemes and pensions legislation.
- Proven ability to manage complex queries, calculations, and client relationships.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a consultative mindset.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for clients and colleagues.
- Commercial awareness and a drive for continuous improvement
