Reporting to our Process Manager, this is a brilliant opportunity to join our highly skilled hand sewing team to enhance our production capabilities as we continue to grow.This role is ideal for someone with exceptional technical precision and artisanry in handsewing luxury garments. We are looking for individuals who bring passion, commitment, and the desire to succeed in a fast-evolving environment. We supply to some of the most prestigious luxury fashion houses across the world. This is an exciting time for us as we continue to expand and transform.What will you be doing?
  • Select garments and/or bundles in accordance with instructions
  • Handsew neck trims and pocket tops onto garments
  • Handsew garments and attach accessories as instructed
  • Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure garments meet company standards
  • Handsew specific elements of garments to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are understood and adhered to
What will you bring to the role?
  • Proven experience as a Handsewer or in a similar garment manufacturing role
  • Strong handsewing ability and knowledge of sewing techniques and garment construction
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Patient and considerate of those around you
