– Conduct in-depth assessments of need and risk to protect vulnerable children and support families in caring for their children.
– Work closely with families and various agencies to reduce the risk of harm and coordinate support packages for children with complex needs.
– Play a pivotal role in safeguarding decisions, attending court as required to advocate for the best interests of children.
– Collaborate with allied health and social care practitioners to create and manage a team around the child, implementing a thorough Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Review (APIR) process.This role demands someone with a proactive attitude who can deliver positive outcomes for children and families. You must hold a relevant social work qualification and Social Work England membership.
