
Senior Sales Manager – Women's Football

- Development of the women's game 3-year commercial partnerships strategy
- Commercialising competitions and assets across the women's game including but not limited to:
- The Lionesses
- Adobe Women's FA Cup, Women's National League
- Affiliated club football
- Talent pathways
- Youth development programmes including Wildcats and Squad
- Manage the creation, development and alignment of new women's game programmes with all relevant FA departments. This could include the development of a women's healthcare programme or specific product development
- Collaborate on initiatives that grow audience engagement, fanbase, and community impact through commercial activation
- Development of new women's game research and creative materials to drive the value and sale of Women's Game programmes
- Lead all women's commercial programmes within The FA Commercial team and when appropriate, work will WSL to optimise growth of the Women's Game
- Working with our sales agency partner to coordinate approaches
- Capability to build a strong business category sales narrative and create bespoke presentations targeting specific categories and brands
- Own the entire sales process from generating leads to execution of the contract
- Create purpose-based propositions for specific business categories to support sales of women's football programmes
- Liaison and management with multiple internal stakeholders to create programmes and align commercial needs across the organisation
- Support the Partnership Management team with renewals as required
- A good understanding of consumer and media research
- Attend and contribute at events and functions to source new leads and opportunities
- Based at Wembley Stadium with signifcant UK travel
- Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.
- As part of the FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in sales
- Experience of working in a complex stakeholder environment
- A creative and intelligent approach to monetise our assets presenting new and compelling marketing ideas
- Strong presentation skills and the proven ability to sell to C-Suite level clients
- Able to build and sell partnerships not sponsorships
- An engaging, open, team player
- Experience of, or a keen interest, in sport and the business of sport is welcomed
- Strong academic background
