Job Description:ASSISTANT FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - PERMANENT - UP TO £45k - MOORGATE - HYBRIDRobert Half are thrilled to be working with a ground-breaking client who are looking for a full-time Assistant Financial Accountant. In this newly created role you'll support the IFRS Lead and Financial Control Leadership Team in delivering accurate, robust financial reporting that helps drive informed decision-making.Things to know:
  • Up to £45k
  • Hybrid working - 2-3 days onsite in Moorgate, with the rest working from home
  • Only part-qualified ACCA/ACA candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in updating and reconciling the fixed asset register.
  • Process asset additions, disposals, and reclassifications.
  • Support fixed asset reporting and depreciation calculations.
  • Help with physical asset checks and disposal documentation.
  • Provide lease accounting and construction-in-progress support.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support monthly reports and year-end accounts.
  • Help respond to audit queries and prepare documentation.
  • Follow internal control procedures.
  • Maintain process documentation and support improvements.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA).
  • Previous experience in financial accounting.
  • Experience in fixed assets and leasing would be a bonus.
  • This role would suit a hands-on individual who can work autonomously.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
