The Lead SACT Nurse for the Humber Health Partnership will be responsible for the management and leadership of the SACT nursing service across Hull University Teaching Hospital Trust and the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Foundation Trust.Main duties of the jobThe Lead SACT Nurse will develop excellence in clinical care for people with cancer and their families undergoing SACT treatments, working closely with service users, providers and the management teams to improve the patient experience and achieve outcomes.Extensive experience of SACT administrationSignificant experience within a variety of cancer settings within multiple rolesUnderstanding of national cancer strategies and long term plansExperience in developing cancer nursing servicesAbout usThe Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff.
