Mechanical Engineer, Aerospace, COR5653This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, with expertise in areas such as mechanical, thermal and electrical systems engineering, to join a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation in a newly-created role.The RoleThe Mechanical Engineer will work with customers to understand requirements, and will design lightweight, robust, low-cost, stowage-efficient mechanisms, to support structures deployment and operations in Space, undertaking all aspects of mechanical engineering surrounding the design, development and production.Benefits:

What do I need?
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a science subject
  • A good understanding of/experience in at least one of: mechanical, thermal, electrical systems, systems engineering
  • Experience with software packages for Mechanical Design
  • Familiarity with at least one of gears, motors and mechanisms
  • Experience within a regulated industry such as Space, Nuclear, Aerospace, Automotive, etc. would be highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with RF Systems Engineering would also be of benefit
