Our partner nurseries in Bristol are passionate about early childhood education, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team.As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery. You will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive contribution to their early learning experiences.Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children in Bristol
- Support daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, as part of the nursery's activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Observe and report on children's progress and developmental needs
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred
- Relevant childcare qualifications or working towards one (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare)
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
