- Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioural and emotional regulation interventions, focusing primarily on KS3 pupils.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff to embed positive behaviour strategies across learning environments.
- Build trusting, empathetic relationships with students, understanding and responding to their needs with structure and sensitivity.
- Apply adaptive strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours, enabling engagement and progression.
- Develop, monitor, and review individual behaviour improvement plans, coordinating with pastoral leads and parents where necessary.
- Experience supporting KS3 students with SEN and behavioural needs, ideally within special education, residential, or therapeutic school settings.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Education, Psychology, Health and Social Care, SEN, Behaviour Support, or related field (desirable).
- Naturally patient, resilient, and empathetic, with a calm, consistent approach.
- Excellent communication & de-escalation skills. Confident liaising with senior leaders, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
