This is an exciting opportunity for someone confident in delivering English lessons and supporting students in developing their reading, writing, and communication skills.Whether you're an aspiring teacher or an experienced educator looking for flexible work, this role offers a rewarding chance to make an impact in the classroom without long-term planning responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Deliver pre-prepared English lessons across KS3 and KS4Maintain a positive and focused classroom environmentEncourage student participation, creativity, and critical thinkingRecord attendance and report any issues to relevant staffSupport student learning by clarifying tasks and offering guidanceBe available to cover additional subjects where requiredYou’ll be a strong candidate if you:Have previous experience as a cover supervisor, tutor, or teacher in a secondary settingPossess a good understanding of English Language and Literature at secondary levelCan manage classroom behaviour effectively and adapt to different groupsAre approachable, organised, and enthusiastic about student progressHold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or are willing to apply for one)
