- Providing one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Promoting focus, engagement, and positive behaviour in class
- Assisting students in managing their emotions and social interactions
- Supporting individual learning plans and pastoral interventions
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to deliver tailored strategies
- Has experience supporting children with SEMH, ASD, or behavioural needs
- Is calm, empathetic, and consistent under pressure
- Understands how to build trust and positive relationships with pupils
- Ideally holds training such as Team Teach or MAPA, or is willing to undertake it
- A fulfilling long-term role within a supportive school environment
