- Be a business partner to the EMEA organisation, supporting them with financial analyses and insights that enables the team to make sound business decisions
- Clear understanding of the regional/channel P&Ls, explaining growth drivers and deviations from budget to the regional leadership team and driving actions to deliver performance.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and business planning - liaising with stakeholders on key business decisions. Drive the monthly and quarterly financial forecast process ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the global process run across the organisation.
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis or projects required by the regional manager and director to better understand and improve the local financial position.
- Develop and implement tools and processes for tracking financial targets and identifying issues.
- Liaise with DTC to better understand and bridge operational performance to financial expectations.
- Collaborate and align with the Accounting team on the month end close process and methodologies, ensuring that we meet HQ deadlines.
- Thorough analysis of variances vs. forecast, budget, and prior year including price/volume analysis and gross margin bridges.
- Lead continuous process improvements, recommending standardisation and optimisation through innovation and leveraging best practices.
