- Secure repeat orders and grow the share of wallet across key accounts.
- Open and activate new customer accounts.
- Meet annual sales and margin targets.
- Maintain healthy and sustainable profit margins across all trading activities.
- Monitor pricing trends and timing to maximize profitability.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers ensuring product quality and availability.
- Ensure supply diversity by sourcing from multiple reliable origins within each product category.
- Maintain weekly cadence with top accounts.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through claim resolution and communication.
- Track re-order rates and actively manage post-sale performance.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, and purchasing teams to ensure efficient execution.
- Act as the key commercial liaison for the UK market internally.
- 6+ years’ experience in fresh fruit & vegetable trading (UK market focus)
- Established portfolio of UK customers
- Deep knowledge of the exotic produce category and sourcing markets
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Independent, organized, and confident operating remotely from the UK
- Fluent English (Spanish would be a plus)
- Proficient in CRM systems and digital tools
- Remote role with regular market visits
- Full commercial autonomy and decision-making authority
