- To lead problem-based learning and professional legal skills workshops, seminars, tutorials and other forms of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- To assess students across a range of activities
- To develop and apply innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students.
- To carry out on-going curriculum review, including module content and materials and contribute to the development of teaching and learning strategies.
- To undertake effectively a range of administrative responsibilities.
- Undergraduate or other higher degree in law of England and Wales, or equivalent professional qualification in law
- Detailed knowledge in the law of England and Wales acquired through study, teaching, or professional experience
- Highly developed communication skills to engage effectively with a wide ranging audience, both orally and in writing, using a range of media
- Ability to design and deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching material either across a range of modules including professional skills-based modules or SQE subjects.
- Ability to assess and supervise the work of students, provide advice on study skills and learning support to students across different levels of academic ability, and assist them with learning problems
- Experience, from an academic or professional context, of different techniques that you can use to enthuse and engage students or other learners.
