Hunter Mental Health is working with a well-structured Older Adults Community Mental Health Team in the Maidstone area, who are looking for an experienced Band 6 CPN to join them on a locum basis.Role: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse – Older Adults CMHTLocation: Maidstone, KentContract: 3-month initial contract (likely to extend)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pmStart Date: ASAPHourly Rate: £26–£27 per hour (umbrella)Contact: Jake at or 0203 307 8743What You’ll Be Doing:Managing a caseload of older adults with functional and organic mental health conditionsConducting initial assessments, risk assessments, and developing person-centred care plansProviding support in the community, including home visits and liaising with families and carersCollaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and manage riskEnsuring accurate documentation in line with CPA and Trust standardsRequirements:Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)Experience working with older adults in community mental health settingsConfident in carrying out memory assessments and managing complex needsCar driver with access to a vehicle is essentialWorking Hours & Contract:Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
