Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Commissioning Engineer with Rockwell Automation experience to join our team based in Irlam, Greater Manchester.The Role
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery and deployment of bespoke control systems at client sites. You will be responsible for the configuration, testing, and commissioning of Rockwell-based systems, ensuring high standards of quality and functionality.Key Responsibilities
Commissioning and testing of Rockwell-based control systems (Allen-Bradley PLCs, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk, etc.)Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure systems meet functional and safety requirementsConduct on-site commissioning, fault-finding, and performance optimisationProvide technical support and training to clients where requiredPrepare comprehensive documentation including commissioning reports and system manualsTravel to client sites (UK-based) as part of project deploymentRequired Skills & Experience
Proven experience in commissioning control systems with a strong focus on Rockwell Automation platformsHands-on expertise with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systemsExperience in sectors such as Rail, Utilities, Power, or Oil & Gas is advantageousStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and client-facing skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel as requiredWhat We Offer
