- To raise orders using our repair management system, schedule and dispatch jobs to the relevantly skilled Operatives or Engineers, using correct job-codes and workstreams.
- Responding to queries from colleagues in customer service, property service and asset compliance via Teams and on the telephone. Offer guidance on the right course of action for repairs and provide updates on work in progress.
- Manage the diaries ensuring the data is accurate, updated and kept live throughout the day. Collate and contribute data for reporting. Ensure emergency jobs are attended to and forward plan other work.
- Experience of working in a repair planning and scheduling role, ideally within an in-house repairs service or commercial contractor.
- Experience of working in an administrative role managing housing and repairs systems/databases such as Orchard and Service Connect.
- Able to work within a team of technical and administrative staff and communicate effectively with contractors, skilled operatives, and suppliers.
- Able to work in a busy and reactive team, be adaptable, and customer focused and can manage own time and priorities positively.
- It would be desirable if you had knowledge of products/materials used in property repairs and maintenance
- It would be fantastic if you had a working knowledge and experience of schedule of rates and a good understanding of repairs and maintenance terminology.
