This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to explore our planet, understand global issues, and develop a curiosity about the environment and societies around them.Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Geography lessons tailored to students’ abilities and learning needs.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Incorporate technology and real-world examples to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure pupil success.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, inclusion, and safeguarding.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the school level is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make lessons engaging and relevant.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
