If you're a resourceful biomedical scientist specialising in histology, join us in Maidstone for this engaging role. As a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing your expertise in microtomy by expertly cutting over 30 high-quality tissue sections per hour from 8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. What you will do:
  • Microtomy and prepare over 30 accurate tissue sections per hour
  • Conduct quality control on prepared samples to ensure consistency and precision
  • Collaborate closely with the histology team to support accurate diagnosis
  • Keep detailed records of procedures and results for thorough documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laboratory equipment and environment
