We pride ourselves on a collaborative ethos, excellent facilities, and a holistic, child-centered approach to learning.The Role: We are seeking a full-time SEN Teacher to join us from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly experienced team and contribute to the personalised learning journeys of pupils with diverse needs and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with autism
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement EHCP targets
- Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
- Monitor progress and use assessment data effectively to inform teaching and learning
- Foster independence, communication, and social skills through structured routines and strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and visual timetables
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience working with children with autism or within a SEN setting (mainstream teachers with strong SEN experience also encouraged to apply)
- A positive, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for inclusive education
