At BakerHicks, we’re looking for a collaborative and supportive HV CAD Manager to guide our talented CAD team in delivering high-quality design solutions across the UK.As our HV CAD Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Transmission & Distribution projects.   • Leading and supporting a team of CAD Technicians across the UK
  • Encouraging a culture of quality, safety, and collaboration in design
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to help team members grow professionally
  • Working closely with other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new CAD team members
  • Ensuring adherence to CAD and BIM standards with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Taking ownership of project deliverables and contributing to a positive team environment
About You
  • Track record of inclusive leadership and fostering a supportive team environment
  • Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering (BEng preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in CAD design within Transmission & Distribution
  • Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation
  • Understanding of BIM standards and utility provider specifications
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing others
