Join Eramet, let your talent beat stronger!Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain collaborative internal relationships with key departments across several sites (resource modelling and estimation, mine quality control (QC), mining operations, mine engineering, safety, and environment;
- Collect, analyze and interpret geological field data and assay data across multiple sources (open pit faces, drill core) to enhance geological knowledge of orebody interpretation, the understanding of controls of alteration and mineralization, define the structures which control the deposits, with the aim of solving facies and grade distribution questions.
- Analyze level plans with information from drill holes and block models;
- Analyze the geochemistry and facies of the products in the blocks - selection criteria (visual or not, structure of the deposit, etc.)
- In-depth analysis of production databases to understand what drives selection, dilution and recovery: use of production data in block models (attributes to be generated in blocks, with import of production data), analysis of production by level. Summaries by level and by sub-pit and pit.
- Training of mine QC geologists in the field.
- Communication with mine engineers and operations personnel on selectivity criteria;
- Provide feedback to resource geologists with the aim of improving estimation and reconciliation;
- Provide feedback to operations personnel to improve recovery;
- Support improvement in resource estimation and mine reconciliation by applying and integrating geological aspects into resource and grade control block modelling and estimation;
- Analyze reconciliation trends and highlight value adding opportunities to management;
- Participate in, oversee, and/or lead the implementation of key initiatives to drive continuous improvement in the application and integration of geological aspects into resource modelling, mining extraction and reconciliation.
