Our chefs work with our customers and have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals.As our Engineering Team Leader, you will support the Engineering team here at Pro-Pak, reporting into the Engineering Manager on-site. This role will oversee daily management of our on-site Maintenance Engineers on shift.Your role will be to support the growth and strengthen our Malton based Engineering team.Key Accountabilities:Continuous improvement experience, using a range of tools and techniquesSafe systems of working, LOTOPermit control across siteWorking with an implemented PPM schedule alongside breakdown activityDelivering all operational mechanical and electrical support on siteFinding efficiencies within the current workflow to increase outputLead and motivate the team and record work completion through set KPI’sPPM and corrective work complianceWorking closely with the Engineering Manager to assist in delivering broader site KPI’sManage external contractors on site out of hours.We’re looking for someone who:Is a robust change agent with a continuous improvement approachAdapts to changing business needs, introduces new ways of thinking and behaving and applies new ideasBuilds a united team and first-class team capabilityProven experience in leading and motivating a successful team .Skills & Experience required:Engineering-related qualification or relevant experience in an Engineering role within food manufacturingStrong technical knowledge and an aptitude for both Mechanical and Electrical EngineeringWorking knowledge of BRC standards and customer codes of practiceStrong people management skillsWorking knowledge and use of CMMS systemsExperience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment, using LEAN tools such as TMPKnowledge and understanding of OEE.What we can offer you:33 days holiday, including bank holidays£50,400 salaryCore hours 4on,4off (6am-6pm)Access to GroceryAid, which provides emotional, practical and financial supportBenefits and recognition hub – including amazing colleague discounts.If you’re interested in this opportunity, please send us your CV and a brief introduction about yourself.
