Location: Sevington, Ashford
Salary: £12.81 per hour (Days) / £14.09 per hour (Nights)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate
Shifts: 4 on, 4 off rota (Days and Nights available)
Shift Times: 6:00am - 6:00pm | 6:00pm - 6:00amAbout the Role:
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a team in Sevington, Ashford. This is a full time on-going 4 on, 4 off rota with both day and night shifts available.Responsibilities:Responsible for day to day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers.
- Load and unload lorries safely and efficiently.
- Handle products manually and with the use of roller cages and other MHE.
- Perform regular inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Take instructions from our on-site partners to support the inspection process.
- Assist drivers in locating the correct bays and provide directions to bays and offices.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies, issues, or damage to the warehouse manager.
- Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
