- Be a senior member of our Portfolio Pricing team working across multiple ongoing projects.
- Drive key benefits through our pricing models, capability, analysis and insights.
- Lead the identification of challenges and opportunities by interpreting our data and advising on appropriate action.
- Implement retail and risk models into live pricing and well-constructed pricing tests to drive an iterative model improvement.
- Track trading performance and OKRs, the risk mix and loss performance.
- Own sign-off meetings with senior members of the business to obtain approval for any recommended changes, taking responsibility for the clear articulation of the business benefits/risks and the pros/cons of the methodology used.
- Be the 1st line of defence in making sure all models implemented adhere to regulatory and fair value measures by challenging models.
- Extensive Pricing experience in either a Pricing Manager or Principal Pricing Analyst capacity within the Personal Lines Insurance market.
- Strong analytical mindset with a curiosity for data and fantastic data manipulation skills.
- Significant experience in delivering statistical models, e.g. GLMs, GBMs or other relevant techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, lead and mentor individuals in a team.
- Strong governance awareness to make sure models implemented fully adhere to regulatory and far value measures.
- Any experience of Radar and Emblem is highly advantageous
- Any experience in SAS, SQL or Python is a nice to have but not essential.
- You'll start with an introductory call with one of our Talent Partners. This is a 'get to know you session' and for you to explore the position in more detail.
- 1st stage interview: 1.5 hour with our Head of Portfolio Pricing and 1 other senior member of the Pricing team.
- 2nd stage: 30 minute interview with our Pricing Director.
