This role is ideally suited to an analytical individual who has demonstrated interest and experience in global investing, capital markets and the asset management industry. In an exciting and dynamic environment, as an MSCI Inside Sales you are responsible for assisting our Sales Coverage and Clients in expanding and increasing the usage of the industry-leading suite of products and services that support the integration of MSCI data and services into investment decisions. Opportunities for growth lie within the Client Coverage Team in the EMEA region.In this role you will work in the Private Assets function of MSCI with exposure to the products the company offers to its clients in the Private Capital space.
Supporting a team of Sales Specialists in their sales efforts:
Prioritizing demands from the Sales Specialists and coordinating with the other departments: Legal, Sales Operations, Finance to ensure timely execution
Qualifying sales leads who contact MSCI
Coordinating contract preparation and following through to ensure delivery of the data
Actively contributing to revenue generation:
Pre-sales: reviewing accounts and supporting the creation of sales proposals
Assisting in sales campaigns carried out by the sales. This may include:
Using internal databases to prepare revenue analysis to aid contract negotiations
Preparing market analysis to aid sales efforts
Calling prospective clients
Informing our clients about the latest improvements to our products
Act as a Coverage business technician who can generate ideas to enhance processes and procedures and uses skills to enhance the sales cycle
Develop strong relationships with clients and balance clients’ needs with the Firm’s resources and constraint
Generate ideas and contribute to efforts to improve sales processes, look for innovative ways to be efficient
Actively build and leverage relationships across all locations, departments, and functions
Know the basic functions of the Client Coverage area and the areas that link into it
Positively impact and consistently deliver strong results against goals and help Coverage with achieving their sales targets
Understand and address clients’ changing needs and expectations and take initiative to improve the client experience and deliver outstanding service
Take initiative and contribute to the work of other Coverage colleagues while fulfilling own responsibilities
Select relevant information, target and communicate openly and effectively within and across global teams
Identify the main components of a problem and draw meaningful conclusions from the available information
Take responsibility, own up and use the utmost discretion in dealing with confidential data
Promote an enjoyable and motivating work environment of integrity and trust
Utilize industry resources to stay abreast of the most current financial services trends and sales methods

2-5 year of professional work experience (Experience in Sales Support, Pre-sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success Management, Client Service or related fields is an advantage)
Bachelor's degree (Business, Economics, Finance)
Strong interest in financial markets and products
Very strong English (German or French Language knowledge is an advantage)
Superior communication and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple projects independently
Ability to work under pressure
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
A self-starter with the ability to work individually and within a team
Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
