  • Has a strong track record of middle or senior leadership and is ready to contribute to strategic school improvement.
  • Has experience leading a range of subjects and is enthusiastic about developing a robust, diverse curriculum that reflects our Christian values and promotes depth, inclusion, diversity and creativity.
  • Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning, with the ability to coach and mentor others to achieve excellence.
  • Is passionate about inclusive education, with a deep understanding of adaptive teaching, restorative behaviour approaches, and a secure knowledge of trauma informed practice.
  • Will have some class teaching responsibility (initially in KS2 for 2 days a week), maintaining a strong connection to teaching practice.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership and management of the school.
Lead on curriculum development, ensuring breadth, depth, and alignment with our school visionAct as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and lead on key areas including Online Safety, Sports Premium, and Curriculum.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and outward-facing innovation. * Champion inclusive practices and support the wellbeing and development of all pupils and staff.What We're Looking ForQualifications:
  • Qualified teacher status
  • Degree
  • Chartered Teacher Status or other professional teaching status
Experience:
  • Successful middle leadership and management experience in a school
  • Have taught in two different key stages
  • Teaching experience 4 years+
  • Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning
  • Line management experience of support staff
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Data analysis skills, and the ability to use data to set targets and identify weaknesses
  • Understanding of high-quality teaching, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve
  • Understanding effective resource management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate a vision and inspire others
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
