
Solutions Architect

- You’ll be embedded within Agile Release Trains (ARTs), working from inception through to delivery of features and enablers.
- You’ll have end-to-end ownership of architecture and design, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to our strategic vision.
- Designing and delivering AWS cloud-hosted solutions, leveraging modern architecture patterns and tools. end-to-end solutions that are secure, scalable, and strategically aligned, with a strong focus on AWS cloud-hosted architectures and data platforms.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging emerging technologies and modern design approaches to solve complex business challenges.
- Working closely with senior leadership and wider organisation, influencing future ways of working, whilst aligning solutions with business goals and technology strategy.
- Broad experience in solution design and architecture governance, applied across multiple channels and product lines.
- Strong background in digital, security, data, and application architectures, including designing and integrating data lakes and data pipelines for data hydration and consumption in AWS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably AWS, including modern data lake technologies and data integration patterns for ingestion, hydration, and consumption.
- Experience in architecture and design roles within financial services or other regulated industries, ideally in Agile at Scale environments.
- Proven leadership and coaching ability, championing collaborative and iterative design within Agile Release Trains and guiding multiple feature teams.
- Proven ability to innovate, using technology in new and exciting ways to deliver business value.
- Deep understanding of non-functional requirements, including operational resilience, security, and performance, alongside knowledge of design governance processes and patterns.
- A passion for solving complex business challenges, creating best-of-breed technology solutions that align with strategic goals, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, engaging confidently with senior leaders and collaborating across architecture, engineering, and business teams.
- Financial Services or regulated industry experience.
