ABC Teachers are looking for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to work within a School in Birmingham.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver differentiated Computer Science lessons that are accessible, engaging, and appropriately paced for learners with SEMH and Autism, including both theoretical and practical elements such as coding, digital literacy, and IT skills.Use a range of assistive technologies, visual supports, and sensory-friendly approaches to meet individual learning needs and reduce barriers to engagement.Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team to create and implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour support plans.Monitor progress through both academic and holistic assessment methods, providing feedback that supports confidence, independence, and skill development for life beyond the classroom.About You:Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience or a strong interest in SEN education.Confident teaching computing, coding, and digital skills at KS3/KS4 level, with an ability to adapt curriculum content creatively.Patient, resilient, and skilled at building positive, trusting relationships with students who may present with challenging behaviours.Passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every learner discover their potential in a supportive, structured environment.ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
