
Chef De Partie - Monday to Friday 40hrs per week

- To ensure that equipment, utensils and working areas are kept clean and are in good working condition at all times
- To ensure that your area of work is always organized to meet business demands
- To keep the kitchen team constantly informed on all food related stock item levels in accordance with business levels
- To produce in good time, all dishes are agreed with specifications and profitability
- To promote a positive attitude and display the ability to make things happen to achieve or exceed anticipated results
- To adhere to all Food Hygiene Practices and procedures
- To assist the kitchen team with daily inspection of physical aspects of all kitchen areas, fridges and equipment
- To carry out any reasonable tasks requested by Senior Management
- Planning, preparation, execution and service of a daily breakfast and lunch menu for approximately 125 office staff
- Planning and preparing working lunches for guests and other special office gatherings
- Provide appropriate presentation and service of finished product to staff
- Implement and supervise proper food safety and sanitation techniques
- Ensure general cleanliness and upkeep of the lounge, kitchen and equipment on a daily and ongoing basis
- To work closely with the kitchen team in order to assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of produce
- To prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Senior Chef.
- To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service with expectations consistently exceeded
- To be a team player, assisting other team members when necessary
- To treat members of the team as you would expect to be treated.
- Assist with stock, deliveries and waste management, checking and recording in line with company policies
- To show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role
- To act as a positive ambassador for the business
- To support the kitchen team in managing daily operational and qualitative aspects in the kitchen
- Work towards achieving company standards. This will be monitored regularly
- Competent working on all sections / kitchen levels
- Develop a professional relationship with other members of staff
- Develop a palate and an understanding of the produce we use
- 2-year Culinary Arts degree or equivalent 2 years work experience
- Experience as a Chef Assistant within catering and/or prep kitchen
- Experience in a high-volume environment
