Start Date: September 2025About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join a thriving primary school in North London. This long-term position runs from September 2025 through to July 2026, offering excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils during their crucial final year of primary education.Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the full primary curriculum
- Prepare Year 6 pupils for SATs and secondary school transition
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Commitment to raising standards and pupil achievement
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with SATs preparation and assessment
- Knowledge of current educational initiatives and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
