- Monitor and manage the credit control process to ensure timely payments from clients.
- Prepare and reconcile customer accounts in the accounting system.
- Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding balances and payment queries.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and billing records.
- Generate and analyse financial reports related to credit and collections.
- Assist in implementing credit policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Support the finance team with month-end processes and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting and finance role.
- A strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- An ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are advantageous.
