As an EYFS Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping the academic, social, and emotional development of young children. You'll be part of a welcoming school community, delivering creative lessons aligned with the EYFS framework while fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use play-based and structured learning strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress through observations and assessments.
  • Support children in developing key skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
  • Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in all pupils.
  • Uphold safeguarding practices and ensure pupil welfare at all times.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
  • Proven experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and development matters.
  • Strong classroom management and nurturing behaviour strategies.
  • Ability to inspire young learners through creativity, patience, and empathy.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities.
