Location: Mainstream Primary Schools in Lambeth
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Then Protocol Education wants to hear from YOU!We’re partnering with a number of fantastic mainstream primary schools across Lambeth who are looking for SEMH Teaching Assistants to provide nurturing, targeted support to pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.Your Role as a SEMH TA in Primary:
💬 Build positive, trusting relationships with children who may struggle with confidence, behaviour, or anxiety
🎯 Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to build resilience, self-esteem and emotional understanding
🛠️ Implement behaviour and wellbeing strategies to support learning and reduce disruption
🤝 Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to meet each child’s unique needs
🧠 Foster a safe, calm, and supportive environment where every child can succeedWe’re Looking For:
✅ Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally in a primary setting
✅ A nurturing, consistent, and proactive approach
✅ Great communication and teamwork skills
✅ A strong desire to make a real difference in young lives
