SEN TutorSalary:£25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SENKnowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of SEN policies and practises
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., autism, dyslexia)
  • Experience using assistive technology to support learning
Working Conditions:
  • Part-Time hours, flexible scheduling
  • Work in school settings or students' homes
  • Potential for remote tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
