
SEN Tutor

- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs
- Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
- Monitor and assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of SEN policies and practises
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., autism, dyslexia)
- Experience using assistive technology to support learning
- Part-Time hours, flexible scheduling
- Work in school settings or students' homes
- Potential for remote tutoring sessions
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
