37 hrs per weekJob duties include but are not limited to :
- Carry out pre-use checks before driving any vehicle, completing and returning a vehicle pre-use check report to the postholder's line manager as instructed.
- Drive allocated vehicle in accordance with appropriate licence as directed and be responsible for the passengers and vehicle including the use of analogue/digital Tachograph in compliance with the Road Traffic Regulations (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 as amended and all other Transport related legislation.
- Ensure the safety of Council employees and the general public by carrying out an assessment of driving conditions and adopting safe methods of working on an ongoing basis, particularly during periods of severe weather.
- Valid Category C LGV Licence
- CPC Card
- 1+ year continuous LGV driving experience
- Pass driving assessment
- Declare any active penalty points (codes assessed for role relevance)
