The school has an inclusive ethos, with a strong reputation for supporting pupils aged 11–16 with a variety of special educational needs.The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning needs.
- Help pupils access the curriculum, manage challenges, and build their confidence.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Up to £650 per week (paid weekly)
- Full-time, long-term role (Monday–Friday)
- Ongoing training and guidance from experienced SEN practitioners
- Career-building experience for pathways in SEN Teaching, Educational Psychology, or Therapy roles
- A collaborative school culture where every staff member is valued
- A 2:1 degree or above (Psychology or related field beneficial)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, resilient, and adaptable
- Previous SEN or youth support experience is desirable, but not essential
- Must have the right to work in the UK
