Opportunity:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious environmental professional to join a dynamic and supportive team working across the UK. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by contributing to high-profile projects that shape the built and natural environment across sectors such as Energy, Transport, Utilities, Ports and Harbours, and Buildings.With recent project wins, we are growing our team and seeking a motivated individual to support Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), consenting projects, and a wide range of environmental deliverables. You'll collaborate with technical specialists in a multi-disciplinary setting and gain exposure to diverse challenges and clients.This is a great career development opportunity for someone looking to progress in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. While preference is given to candidates who can work from Glasgow at least part-time, flexible working arrangements will be considered to accommodate individual circumstances.Responsibility:
  • Support coordination and delivery of environmental work, including EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management
  • Collate and synthesise information from multiple sources to produce clear, high-quality reports
  • Manage own workload efficiently, delivering work to a high standard, on time, and within budget
  • Assist in bid preparation and project management alongside senior colleagues
  • Engage in ongoing professional development aligned with chosen professional institute
Requirements:
  • Degree or Master's in an environmental or related scientific discipline
  • Working toward chartership with a relevant professional body (e.g. IEMA, RTPI, CIWEM, etc.)
  • Experience supporting EIA and consenting projects across any sector
  • Good knowledge of the EIA process and coordination with technical specialists
  • Strong report writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability, motivation, and a passion for delivering sustainable outcomes
  • Willingness to travel or work from client offices, as required
