In this role, you will lead transformational engagements, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive solution development and delivery within a dynamic and rapidly evolving sector.Ideal candidates would have strong expertise in Investment Management with experience in a Management Consulting environment in leadership positions. Experience in Change / Transformation roles in industry in addition would be valuable.Deloitte is actively engaged with clients across the Investment Management Industry to Design, Implement and Operate the transformations our clients need to succeed in a rapidly growing market. We work with leading Investment Managers, Private Markets firms and Asset Servicing firms to solve their biggest and most complex problems. As part of the Operations, Industry and Domain Solutions practice at Deloitte, we pride ourselves on our ability to harness our deep industry experience across distribution, front, middle and back-office to help our clients drive transformational change across their business.As a leader in our team, you will work as part of a team of Investment Management industry specialists in our practice and have the opportunity to:
  • Leverage your industry knowledge and network to become the leading expert in the market
  • Focus on the delivery of client work that will successfully fulfil and exceed client expectations, and deliver engagement and programme objectives
  • Take a leading role on projects, managing and developing our more junior team members
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, the development of the Investment Management team, including supporting proposition development and thought leadership
  • Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities related to operational transformation within the Investment Management sector
Connect to your skills and professional experience
  • Extensive experience working in Investment Management, including significant knowledge of back and/or middle office capabilities and key trends impacting these capabilities in the market
  • Experience driving change and impacting operating models of Investment Managers, including experience in outsourcing and technology including experience working with Asset Servicers and tech vendors
  • Experience in Investment Management data-enabled change, including experience in designing and implementing data-led initiatives
  • A track record of designing, delivering and leading transformational change in Investment Management
  • Proven ability to mobilise and motivate teams, establishing the specific day-to-day plans, projects and objectives needed
  • Broad network in operations functions across Investment Managers, technology providers, and Asset Servicers
  • Experience in leading client relationships and managing key stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Able to articulate complex ideas to client stakeholders
  • Ability to mobilise and motivate teams, establishing the specific day-to-day plans, projects and objectives needed
  • Have an understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm's reputation
  • Have a “can do” attitude with a real willingness to learn and participate
  • Bring enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference
  • Experience in business development and an active network in the Investment Management sector
Preferably you will also have:
  • Experience in Investment Management operating platforms and other technologies leveraged by Investment Management firms.
