Hours: Monday to Friday, typically between 10:30am - 2:00pm (term time only)About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at a welcoming school in Kettering. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of students by helping to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a clean and friendly environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with food preparation and serving
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Wash up and manage waste disposal
Follow food hygiene and health & safety guidelines
Support the cook and catering team with daily tasksIdeal Candidate:Friendly, reliable, and a team player
Good communication and time management skills
Experience in a kitchen or catering role is beneficial but not essential
Willingness to complete food hygiene training (if not already certified)
