  • Produce and review pricing quotations for new business.
  • Lead or contribute to projects, ensuring timely and effective progress.
  • Gain strong technical understanding of internal systems and tools, and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Stay open to new ideas and technology, showing adaptability and resilience.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture, support junior colleagues, and assist with coaching.
  • Work with internal teams (e.g., reinsurance and commercial) to help deliver competitive propositions.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Solid understanding of the DB pension risk transfer market and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with actuarial pricing concepts (bulk annuity transactions are a bonus!).
  • Comfortable with Excel and programming; and willingness to learn new tech tools.
  • Effective communicator with good teamwork and self-management abilities
Qualifications
  • Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent).
