Providing face-to-face support to patients within our practices
Carrying out clinical duties such as blood pressure checks, ECGs, phlebotomy, wound care, weight management, and NHS health checks
B12, shingles, pneumococcal and flu injections
Supporting the nursing and GP team in chaperoning patients
Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health & wellbeing
Vaccine and cold chain storage monitoring and recording
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Assisting with infection control and general health promotion
Contributing to a positive and proactive team culture
Support with clinical stock control management - clearing and restocking consultation rooms

- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a primary care or community setting (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Competence in core HCA duties such as phlebotomy, ECGs, wound care, etc.
- A kind, respectful and professional approach to patient care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A team player whos flexible, reliable and committed to continuous learning
