DescriptionAre you a part-qualified Management Accountant with a passion for numbers, insight, and impact?My client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their thriving manufacturing business. This role will report to an inspiring Finance Director who genuinely invests in his people?Why this role?Our client is a growing and respected SME manufacturer located just outside Blackpool, with a turnover in the £5 million range and ambitious growth plans. They're now looking for a driven, commercially minded Management Accountant to join their close-knit finance team and play a key role in shaping the company's financial direction.You'll be reporting directly to an accomplished and supportive Finance Director with a track record of developing finance talent into qualified, high-performing professionals.What you'll be doing
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and key performance reports
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Helping to drive improvements in cost control and margin analysis
  • Partnering with operations to understand financial drivers on the shop floor
  • Assisting in year-end audit and statutory reporting processes
  • Involvement in systems upgrades and finance process improvements
About you
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment (preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
  • Commercially aware with an analytical mindset
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to make an impact
  • Looking for mentorship, challenge, and a clear route to qualification
