The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learning, raising aspirations, and helping every student to thrive academically and personally.About the Role:Provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly in literacy and reading interventionsMentor and coach pupils to build confidence, resilience, and ambitionSupport teaching and learning in a variety of settings including lessons, small group work, after-school clubs, and enrichment activitiesAssist with specialist provision such as speech/language or physical therapy supportPrepare high-quality resources and contribute to lesson planning with teachers and SENCOsPromote high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment across the schoolSupervise students at break, lunch, and during school trips, modelling professionalism at all timesEngage fully in professional development opportunities to prepare for a potential future career in teachingRole Details:Location: LondonContract: Full-time, permanentStart Date: ASAPSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceWhat We’re Looking For:Degree-level qualification (essential)Experience working or volunteering with young people in an educational or mentoring settingStrong literacy, numeracy, and IT skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities with both students and adultsOrganised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamA genuine passion for education and belief in the potential of every studentResilient, motivated, and committed to safeguarding and supporting young people✨ This role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching or education who want to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
