We have an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established law firm in York. The firm is highly regarded regionally for its high-quality legal services and supportive team environment. You will be joining a respected team with a reputation for delivering excellent client care and practical advice.The RoleAs a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload including traditional private client matters such as wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration, along with some Court of Protection work. You will be responsible for providing clear, practical advice to a diverse range of clients, and you will have the support of a busy but approachable team as you settle into the role.What's in it for you?

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration.
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice tailored to client needs.
  • Assist with Court of Protection matters as required.
  • Maintain excellent client communication and ensure high-quality service.
About You
You will be a motivated yet caring solicitor who:
  • Has at least 3 years' PQE experience in private client.
  • Can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Possesses excellent communication and client care skills.
